Updating graphics is a pain specicially when you use Sprites and don&#039;t have all the original images.&lt;br&gt;2. If you already have a very good dedicated server then CSS Sprites may not be worth optimizing.&lt;br&gt;3. If you are using CSS Sprites you can using Vertical, Horizontal or Both. It depends on how you want to use your CSS. &lt;br&gt;4. if your image sprites are .PNG files with alpha channel, the transparency hacks for IE6 will break your css styles&lt;br&gt;5.
